Kyoto Tourism Ethics Excellence Award 2023

KMC received recognition from the Kyoto City Industry and Tourism Bureau for its commitment to sustainable tourism practices. The award ceremony was held at Kyoto City Hall on January 19, 2024.

The award recognizes businesses that contribute to the tourism industry by adhering to the Kyoto Tourism Action Standards and operating in harmony with local communities. KMC was selected for its approach to inbound tourism: connecting international visitors to Kyoto’s living cultural heritage in ways that respect both the tradition and the community that sustains it.
